Maintaining your swimming pool water with the right pool chemicals as well as keeping your water chemistry in balance are essential when it comes to owning an above ground pool or inground pool. Swimming Pool chemicals are important to keeping your pool water crystal clear and safe to swim in. From bromine to chlorine, pool shock to algaecides and pool clarifiers, In The HOO CHEMTEC delivers what you want and what your pool needs.

It’s important to make sure you have all the necessary pool chemicals on hand to maintain clean and balanced pool water.

What Should our Pool Chemistry Be?

• pH: 7.4 to 7.6

• Alkalinity: 100 to 150 ppm

• Calcium Hardness: 175 to 225 ppm and 225 to 275 ppm for plaster pools

• For Chlorine or Salt Water Pools: 1 to 3 ppm (I recommend you keep it at 3 ppm)

• For Bromine Pools: 3 to 5 ppm

• For Biguanide Pools: 30 to 50 ppm

• For Mineral System Pools: 0.5 ppm of chlorine

Pool Water Balancers

Water Balancers are used to adjust pool water chemistry levels such as lowering pH and alkalinity or raising pH and raising alkalinity to help maintain optimal water quality. Pool Stabilizer increases cyanuric acid levels to help reduce chlorine loss from the sun, helping extend chlorine efficiency. Pool Calcium Hardness Increaser raises the calcium mineral level of the pool water to help prevent damage to pool surfaces and equipment from corrosive water.

Such as : Sodium Bicarbonate/ sodium carbonate / sodium carbonate cyanuric acid

If your pool is properly balanced at all times, it will make your pool’s sanitizer work more effectively – especially chlorine.

Pool Sanitization

Pool Chlorine Tablets remain many pool owner’s first choice for maintaining a chlorine residual for water sanitization in swimming pools. Chlorine tabs are designed to dissolve at a slow, even rate to kill bacteria and control algae. Bromine tablets and chlorinating granular are also available to sanitize pool and spa water effectively.

Pool Clarifier and Floc

A water clarifier helps by bringing all those tiny particles that are making your water cloudy and combining them into bigger particles that your filter will have a better chance of filtering out.

Floc or Flocculant, grabs those tiny particles, brings them together, and sinks them to the bottom. With pool floc, you will have to manually get those particles out of your water by vacuuming to waste.

Pool Algaecide

Pool Algaecides can be used as an effective treatment to kill algae blooms as well as help prevent algae growth such as green algae, yellow algae, and black algae in swimming pools. Weekly maintenance doses of an algaecide such as our In The Swim Pool Algaecide is great to help control algae growth and assists the chlorine sanitizer against potential pool algae blooms.

Such as : Copper Sulphate/Polyquaternary Ammonium Chloride/ Polymeric Quaternary ammonium compound and organic phosphonate

Pool Stain and Scale Remover

Pool Stain Removers are effective at removing pool surface stains easily, helping to maintain the appearance of your swimming pool.

If metals come out of solution that can attach themselves to the walls and other parts of your pool and produce unsightly stains, you can use a metal remover or stain and scale remover to keep those metals in solution so that your filter can filter them out.
