Differences between Anhydrous calcium chloride and Dihydrate calcium chlorid
• Chemical Difference: Anhydrous calcium chloride has no water molecules. Dihydrate calcium chloride contains two water molecules, about 20% water by weight.
• Best for High-Purity Needs: Anhydrous is used in special chemical reactions, gas drying, and precise equipment where no impurities are allowed.
• Best for Agriculture & Cooling: Dihydrate is preferred as a calcium supplement for plants, and for refrigeration systems because it dissolves well and stays stable.
