The structure of a polymer, abbreviated as PAA, involves repeating components from acrylic acid monomers connected via covalent bonds. Acrylic acid is a simple unsaturated carboxylic acid denoted by CH2=CHCOOH. The structure of PAA can be shown as:

Within this structure, the [-CH2-CH(COOH)-] segment repeats multiple times, creating a polymer chain. The “n” signifies the count of reiterated units, influencing the polymer’s molecular weight and traits.
