What is Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), commonly known as oxygenated water, is one of the most frequently used strong oxidizing agents in the field of water treatment.Hydrogen Peroxide

The most common industrial concentrations are 35% and 50%. 35% H2O2 is widely used for textile bleaching and environmental applications, while 50% H2O2 is preferred for high-volume chemical synthesis and advanced water treatment (like Fenton processes) to reduce storage and transportation costs.

Unlike chlorine, Hydrogen Peroxide is a “green” oxidant. It decomposes into only water and oxygen, leaving no toxic residues (like AOX or THMs). It is highly effective for COD/BOD reduction, odor control, and cyanide detoxification, making it the ideal choice for eco-friendly industrial wastewater plants.

It should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. We provide H2O2 in UN-certified HDPE drums or IBC tanks with specialized venting caps to prevent pressure buildup. Always ensure the storage area is free from combustible materials and transition metals.
