  2. Dissolution: Scraps dissolve in dilute sulfuric acid (H2SO4), usually in controlled tanks.
  3. Ferrous Sulfate Creation: Iron reacts with sulfuric acid, forms ferrous sulfate, potentially generating heat.
  4. Precipitation: Adjusting pH with lime/sulfuric acid isolates ferrous sulfate, prompting solidification.
  5. Solid-Liquid Separation: Filtration/centrifugation divides solid ferrous sulfate from liquid.
  6. Drying: Washed solid dries via rotary/fluidized bed dryers, removing moisture.
  7. Packaging: Dry ferrous sulfate’s packed in containers (bags, drums) for storage/distribution.
