Pool water disinfection is not to kill all pathogenic microorganisms in the pool water, but to achieve:
1. Pathogenic effect of killing pathogenic microorganisms in pool water;
2. No high concentration of toxic substances;
3. No bad smell and taste;
4. No visible turbidity and color.
At present, the most common disinfection method of swimming pools is chemical disinfection. Its advantage is that the effective ingredients of anti-virus have reached 60%, the bactericidal effect is good, and the disinfection function is continuous. It can also quickly kill all kinds of bacteria, fungi and viruses. Common disinfection chemicals are bleaching powder, sodium hypochlorite, liquid chlorine, trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA), bromochlorine and so on.
At present, swimming pools in Europe, America, Japan and other countries basically use TCCA as a disinfectant.
It is a strong oxidizing agent and chlorination agent, because of its excellent bactericidal performance, efficient, broad spectrum, relatively safe disinfection effect, bacteria, viruses, fungi and so on have killing effect. In recent years, there are also quite a number of swimming pools in China to use TCCA as a disinfectant, widely used in drinking water, swimming pools, public places disinfection and sterilization, the effect is obvious.
But it is worth noting that it is necessary to grasp the amount of use, if the proportion of the amount is too high, the human skin will be irritating, and serious burns.
Finally, pay attention to personal hygiene and cleanliness after swimming, such as:
- Rinse your mouth with water or disinfect it with mouthwash immediately after swimming.
- Wash your hair carefully. When your hair is soaked, it is easy to hide germs.
- Pay attention to the protection of the eyes It is best to wear swimming goggles when swimming to avoid the pool water containing pathogenic microorganisms into the eyes, resulting in conjunctivitis.
